Materials
- Chunky yarn (size 6)
- Crochet hook (6mm)
- Safety eyes (8mm)
- Yarn needle
- Plushie stuffing
- Scissors
- Stitch markers
Abbreviations
- MR - Magic ring
- CH - Chain
- SC - Single crochet
- BO - Bobble stitch
- FLO - Front loop only
- INC - Invisible Increase
- DEC - Invisible Decrease
- ST - Stitch
- SL ST - Slip Stitch
- FO - Finish Off
Directions
Legs
Make two legs then join them to make the body.
With white yarn:
Leg 1
- R1: 6sc in magic ring (6)
- R2: [2sc, inc] x2 (8)
- SL ST and FO
Leg 2
- R1: 6sc in magic ring (6)
- R2: [2sc, inc] x2 (8),
- chain1 then sc into any st of the first leg to join
Body + Head
- R3: 8sc, sc in chain, 8sc, sc in chain (18)
- R4-5 (2 rounds): sc in every st (18)
- R6: 5sc, 1BO, 6sc, 1BO, 5sc (18)
- R7: sc in every st (18)
- R8: [sc, dec] x6 (12)
- R9: FLO inc every st (24)
- R10-11 (2 rounds): sc in every st (24)
- R12: [2sc, dec] x6 (18)
- R13: sc in every st (18)
- Add stuffing and safety eyes between R11-12.
- R14: [sc, dec] x6 (12)
- R15: dec x6 (6)
- FO and sew closed
Ears x2
With white yarn:
- R1: 4sc in magic ring (4)
- R2: [sc, inc] x2 (6)
- R3: [2sc, inc] x2 (8)
- R4: [sc, inc] x4 (12)
- SL ST and leave yarn tail to sew
Tail
With white yarn:
- R1: 4sc in magic ring (4)
- R2: inc x4 (8)
- R3-4 (2 rounds): sc in every st (8)
- R5: dec x4 (4)
- SL ST and leave yarn tail to sew
Scarf
- R1: Slip knot, chain 25
- SL ST and FO
(If this is not thick enough, add another row.
R2: start 2nd chain from hook, sl st in every chain)
Assembly
- Sew ears between R2-4 on top of the head
- Sew tail right above the center of the legs
- Tie the scarf around the neck
- Add a nose, blush, or other accessories!
