Materials
- Chunky yarn (size 6)
- Crochet hook (6mm)
- Yarn needle
- Plushie stuffing
- Scissors
- Stitch markers
- (optional) Felt & glue for eyes (or embroider with yarn)
Abbreviations
- MR - Magic ring
- CH - Chain
- SC - Single crochet
- HDC - Half double crochet
- FLO - Front loop only
- INC - Increase
- DEC - Decrease
- ST - Stitch
- SL ST - Slip Stitch
- FO - Finish Off
Directions
Body + Head
With white yarn:
- R1: 6sc in mr (6)
- R2: inc in every st (12)
- R3: [sc, inc] x6 (18)
- R4: 6sc, BO, 4sc, BO, 6sc (18)
- R5-7 (3 rounds): sc in every st (18)
- R8: 7sc, BO, 4sc, BO, 5sc (18)
- R9: sc in every st (18)
- R10: [sc, dec] x6 (12)
- Add stuffing for the body
- R11: FLO inc every st (24)
- R12-13 (2 rounds): sc in every st (24)
- R14: [2sc, dec] x6 (18)
- R15: 5dec, 6sc, 1dec (12)
- Add more stuffing for the head
- R16-18 (3 rounds): sc in every st (12)
- Add more stuffing for the snout
- R19: dec x6 (6)
- FO and sew closed
Ears x2
With black yarn:
- Row 1: 3 hdc in mr (3), close ring and turn
- Row 2: ch2, 2hdc, hdc inc (5), turn
- Row 3: ch2, hdc in every st (6), turn
- Row 4: ch 2, 2 hdc dec, hdc (4)
- ch1 and leave tail to sew
Tail
Start with white yarn:
- R1: 4sc in mr (4)
- R2-3: sc in every st (4)
- R4 (black): sc in every st (4)
- SL ST and leave yarn to sew
Assembly
- Sew ears R11-13, on top of the head
- Sew the tail R3-4, above the back legs
- Sew on oval dot on the back R6-8
- Sew an oval nose, centered on the snout (R19)
- Sew or glue on felt for the eyes
- Tie a red bow around the neck

I added the back spot by embroidering it on with black yarn in a circle shape!
