Introduction

Materials

  • Chunky yarn (size 6) in white, blue, gray
  • Crochet hook (6mm)
  • Safety eyes (8mm)
  • Yarn needle
  • Plushie stuffing
  • Scissors
  • Stitch markers

 

Abbreviations

  • MR - Magic ring
  • CH - Chain
  • SC - Single crochet
  • HDC - Half double crochet
  • FLO - Front loop only
  • BLO - Back loop only
  • INC - Increase
  • DEC - Decrease
  • ST - Stitch
  • SL ST - Slip Stitch
  • FO - Finish Off

 

Directions

Body + Head

With white yarn:

  • R1: 8sc in mr (8)
  • R2: inc in every st (16)
  • R3: [sc, inc] x8 (24)
  • R4-9 (6 rounds): sc in every st (24)
  • R10 (FLO): [sl st + ch1, hdc + ch1 + sl st] x12 (24)
  • R11 (in BLO of row 9): sc in every st (24)
  • Add stuffing and safety eyes R5-6, 3 st apart
  • R12: 12dec (12)
  • Add more stuffing until firm
  • R13: 6dec (6)
  • FO and sew closed

    “+” means to do them in the same st!

 

Ears x2

With blue yarn:

  • slip knot, ch3
  • sc in 2nd chain from hook, hdc in next ch
  • ch1 and leave tail to sew

 

Tail

Start with white yarn:

  • R1: 4sc in mr (4)
  • R2-3 (switch to blue): sc in every st (4)
  • SL ST and leave tail to sew

 

Side Floof x2

Start with white yarn:

  • slip knot, ch2
  • sc in 2nd ch from hook
  • ch1 and leave tail to sew

     

    Assembly

    • Sew ears R2-3, on top of the head
    • Sew the side floofs R4, under each ear
    • Sew the tail R8-9, center of the back
    • (Optional) Sew grey yarn onto the inner ears
